EU DeHavilland is looking for Parliamentary Freelance Reporters
In Brussels and/or Strasbourg
We are looking for self-employed EU Parliamentary Freelance Reporters to extend our network in Brussels and Strasbourg.
Freelance reporters will be required to cover European Parliament Committee meetings – in particular the ECON, ENVI, ITRE & TRAN Committees - and other EU affairs events of interest for our clients taking place in Brussels and Strasbourg. The reports will have to be submitted in English within tight deadlines.

Main Requirements:
* Proven experience in writing on EU parliamentary affairs
* A genuine interest in and understanding of the European political process and decision making
* Excellent writing skills
* Ability to translate complex and technical discussions into simple language
* Good time management
* Self-employed status
Desirable Skills:
* A good knowledge of financial services and economic matters
* Experience in interviewing EU stakeholders in Brussels
* University Degree or Training in Journalism
* Online writing skills, including blogging
