Présentation
Singer
Catherine Leclerc is a classically trained singer and musician, although her tastes and professional experience extend far beyond this broad genre. She describes the only stipulation in her musical preferences by saying “as long as it's quality, it’s fine by me.......”.
She has enjoyed an international professional singing career ranging from the great National Opera Houses of Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, to the underworld vibe of Glastonbury all the way through to the bohemian streets of The Edinburgh Fringe. Cat is one third of the trio who forms Ali MacGregor's Opera Burlesque, playing the part of the naughty Fraulein Minsky.
Vocal Tutor
Catherine Leclerc (BmusHons/PGCE) is a classically trained and fully qualified professional singer as well as an experienced teacher of voice. Catherine has taught children and adults, male and female, in schools and as a private tutor. Catherine has a proven track record in preparing pupils for Associated Board, national certification and conservatoire entrance examinations as well as for public performances in recital, concert and on stage. Catherine enjoys teaching pupils individually or in groups and loves training choirs - she is currently founding an amateur adult choir based in Brussels, “Vox Pop". No matter your age or reasons for wanting to learn to sing; to pass exams, prepare for auditions, develop technique or just for fun, Catherine has the skills and motivation to deliver what YOU want and need.
