It was a fascination as a young child, and coming from a musical background, that encouraged Sébastien to develop and hone his skills on the piano and in musical composition.
It’s from these roots, and with a keen interest in a wide genre of music, that led Sébastien to compose and arrange for various entertainment and corporate projects.
Graduating as a Sound Engineer in 2001 enabled Sébastien to build his own studio in Brussels where he splits his time between working on his current repertoire of music and playing live in and around Belgium.

My main music project
mr23, aka Sébastien Vanhove, remembers having an early fascination with music and has thus spent many years studying piano and musical composition. Its’ from these roots, and through the influences of 70’s rock, trip-hop and jazz, that led mr23 to experiment with different genres of music eventually focusing on electronic and minimal techno. His qualifications as a sound engineer enabled him to build his own studio where he produced his first two EP’s released on Teleskopik Recordings in 2009 and in 2011. mr23 currently resides in Belgium where he often works with other live musicians as well as producing his own music. -
Label TELESKOPIK Recordings
Nearly 20 years of composing, playing and promoting electronic music has led elexx to start 'Teleskopik' Recordings - an outlet for well-crafted, soulful and forward-thinking dancefloor music. The sound of 'Teleskopik' could be described as a fusion of the 80s pre-electronic era (think Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire or Art of Noise) with the rhythmic and funky influences from more recent techno and house records, delivering a subtle blend of minimal dancefloor music with a more melodic appeal.
