Dj / Producer / Mc Contest 2009

To all of you dj's, producers and mc's!
Its time to prove yourself on the Machine's Contest Weekend! (11-12 september 2009)

Send in your demo (dj's +- 30min, producers +-20min, mc's +- 10min) before Friday the 28th of august!! Mail your link to machinecontest@gmail.com or burn a cd and send it to Machine, Naamsestraat 34, 3000 Leuven. It's also possible to give your cd at the bar. Do not forget to write your name, number and email on it!

We will chose the 10 best dj's, the 5 best producers and the 10 best mc's and announce the chosen ones on Tuesday 1 september. You will find all the info at our website!

The dj's will challenge on friday 11 september 2009 starting at 21.00u!! Every dj will play 30 min. The contest will stop at 2.00u, BUT there will be an afterparty!! The winner will be announced at 2.30u.
The producers and mc's will challenge on saturday 12 september 2009 starting at 20.00u!! Every producer will play 30min. At 22.30u the producer contest will stop and winner will be announced at 23.00u. From then on, the Mc contest will begin.
The Mc's will have to chose between either Hip Hop, Ragga, Drum n Bass or Dubstep. There will be a dj who will play your chosen style, and you get 30min. to prove yourself. At 4.00u the Mc contest will stop, so the afterparty can begin. The winning mc will be announced at 4.30u.

WHAT CAN YOU WIN?
The winning dj, producer and mc will all get a free party! They can chose a date and get Machine one night for free!
The second and thirth place will receive a Machine T-Shirt!
But offcourse, everyone who bangs the crowd really hard, get's a booking!!

HOW CAN YOU WIN?
There will be a profesional jury that counts for 50 procent of the total points. The other 50 procent will come from the crowd themselfs. So bring your friend to support!
More details will follow in the next week (jury, how to vote, ... ) but don't wait to make your demo!!
