Daily Dubstep Invites After 12
Mr M & One87 launched Daily Dubstep in 2009. It was an instant success and after several sold-out editions, they were invited to host a stage at the Tomorrowland festival in 2011. Since they showed the crowd how to rock a Dubstep party big time, they were invited back last summer and they will also be present again this year. Daily Dubstep also joined forces with Star Warz on several occasions. This New Year’s Eve for the second time and again, it turned into one of the biggest and baddest bass music nights ever witnessed in Belgium.
This time Daily Dubstep teams up with After 12. After 12 began in 2005 with a radio-show on Ghent based student radio-station Urgent.fm. The main focus of the radioshow was the UK bass sound: drum'n'bass, jungle, rave, 2step and garage. When dubstep evolved during that period After 12 was one of the first radio-shows in Belgium to play the fresh sound. Next to the radio show After 12 started promoting their own Dubstep parties in Ghent. The main ingredient is mostly Dubstep but attention for and influence by other similar genres is never far away. International guests on After 12 were among others Mala, Pinch, Rusko, Distance, N-Type, Kromestar, Goth Trad, Roska, Ben UFO and Mosca.
